ABOUT THE ARTIST

Viego Drobotă / Mizu

My name is Viego Drobotă, but in the digital world, I mostly go by Mizu. I am a versatile graphic designer and visual artist with a deep-rooted passion for storytelling through imagery.

My creative journey has been a bit of an evolution, starting with the tactile world of sculpture and eventually finding my home in the digital realms of illustration, animation, and UI/UX design. I have never abandoned my traditional roots and, whenever possible, I prefer to dabble with the classic pen on paper art. Whether I’m designing book covers, building brand identities, or illustrating stories, I approach every project with a mix of professional seriousness and a healthy dose of curiosity.

When I’m not behind a screen, you’ll likely find me exploring my rather eclectic range of interests. I have a profound love for Japanese culture and language, an endless fascination with the mind-bending world of quantum physics, and a lifelong soft spot for horses. I believe that staying curious about the way the world works, from the subatomic level to the elegance of a gallop, is what keeps my creative work fresh and multidimensional.

I’m always looking for new challenges and stories to tell. Let’s create something amazing together!
